Computer Freezes

HI, this is my first blog and I will be writing about computers and the solutions to the computer problems.

The worst computer problem is computer freezes. Many people think that its because they have problem in their operating system but it is not the cause the real cause is disk fragmentation.

Fragmentation occurs when files are constantly being written, over-sized or deleted, and the file is broken in to different pieces to fit in to the disk, and this way a file is spread in to the different locations, off-course when the file is spread in to the different locations it takes longer time to open and run it.and this results in computer freezes, slow performance, and a long time to boot the computer and sometimes sudden computer jams.Disk fragmentation effects the computer performance even if you have the best hardware. No matter how powerful PC you have fragmentation will slow it down.Infact the harder the computer works the more the fragmentation will build up.

Hence The biggest factor of a slow computer performance is disk fragmentation, it makes computer freezes, longer boot time, take more time to open files, and launching applications. until you get fed up with slow computer and decide that you need to replace you computer.Well you do not have to replace it, here is a software that can eliminate the problem by keeping your computer automatically defragmented. Its called diskeeper.I have tried diskeeper on my computer and it made my computer a lot faseter and restored my computer to peak performance like when it was new.It has a trail version too.Its an excellent software and makes computer faster and I highly recommend it.You will hardly notice when it is active but you will see the increase in speed and reliability.

Now yes I know that windows has a building defragmenter too but why I found diskeeper better then build-in Defragmenter is because of these reasons.

  1. The windows build-in defragmenter is slow, and takes hours to run, however diskeeper only takes a few seconds to minutes to complete its task.

2. The build-in defragmenter is not automatic, and when your computer get very slow then you realize oh no! and then you defragment drives manually and that wastes a lot time. However the good thing about diskeeper is that it automatically keeps track of fragmentation and does everything for you automatically that’s why many people call it “set it and forget it

3. Some people believe in this myth that if you defragment your drive too often it can wear out. This is not true, because if you do not defragment your drive at all it will have to do much work.In reality fragmentation results in many more disk accesses.

4. It is a misconception that a computer with freshly installed operating system is in best shape and is not needed to be defragmented. as it starts off with its files already fragmented.I highly recommend diskeeper for new computers too.

Hence to make long story short, Just don’t wait for your computer to slow down or freeze before defragmenting. Install diskeeper and keep your computer performing fast all times.Install free trail version and check it your self.

Hope this post helps.
